Character Suggestion Contest
Are you ready to try your hand at putting your suggestion in-game? There will be TWO winners again but this time there will be two separate types of entries:

- Character Art design!

- Character Backstory!

You have until next friday to submit your Art and/or Backstory suggestions. Here's how:

- You can submit your entries on the Oversoul Suggestion Forum Here!

- You can also Tweet Nulgath on the Twitters with the hashtag #Oversoul

You can submit as much as you like. I'll looks through as many as I possibly can. Once we have chosen the art and backstories, you the player community, will vote for your favorite in each category. Voting will last 1 week.

The Art and Story suggestions with the most votes will be designed, animated and put into Oversoul!
Once we have chosen the entries for you to vote on, we will set the ending date for the voting! Stay Tuned!

Don't be surprised, it's not like the leaderboards has ruined the game, because it has no value unlike HS where broken gameplay gives you a champions' title. And I support the game no matter what happens.

Game Update v0.8.11
The Water Card Series Deck! 2 New Cards:
Water Crash - 500 Piercing Damage
Water Spring - Revover 500 Hitpoints over 2 Turns
Find the hidden grotto to unleash the power of New Rank Up Water Creatures. Both new character ranks ups hold the new water cards!:
Quaztk Lord (SG)
Water Wing (Free)
Warlic Game Notes:
- Card Customization Screen initial loading time has been improved.
- Refresh has been fixed so that it properly adds a heal to a defense card.
- Refresh cost has been lowered to 2.
- Negative damage is now possible in battle.  This fixes a desync
 issue with HoT and DoT effects.  It is also more fun!
- Taro's Deck has been adjusted.  Power Strikes have been removed and
 replaced with Death Flow and a Neutralize.

- Fire Whirl - Deals 400 Damage every turn for 4 turns

Warlic Bug Fixes
1)Fixed a bug that caused negative numbers in the Customizable Card Screen.
2)Fixed an issue that could have caused a blank CC screen for some players.

Soul Gem Player News
You are now guaranteed at least one high ranking card when you buy a Soul Gem Card Pack!

The Lighting Card Series Deck! 4 New Cards:
- Chain Lightning - Cast 3 Lighting Bolts Dealing 500 Damage Each ( The first spell to hit multiple times in ONE turn! )
- Super Charged - All Attack cards gain +500 Damage
- Electric Arc - Deals 200 damage per turn for 6 turns
- Tazer - Deals 500 Piercing Damage

3 New Spell Animation Effects For:
- Chain Lightning
- Electric Arc

Other Notes:
- Earth Card Series Coming Soon!
- Buying multiple card packs will take slightly longer to prevent crashes until the server can be made more stable to handle the multiple card series

That's normal, they're doing the card series and adding characters first, so they can work on the storyline... A storyline is not something that can be created in a few weeks... It takes months and sometimes years. Just look at what they did to HS : They had a brilliant plan for a storyline, great characters and solid gameplay. But they threw it all away in a few weeks with their PvP system. AQW became a joke after It's recent updates... I don't need to tell you why.

Yes, the updates in OS tend to pile up at most times, they're a reason behind that. And when there's bugs, they're actually trying to fix them even though some take longer than others. So I ask you this then : Do you want a flash game with little effort put into it? Or a flash game made by the heart?

I think you are expecting too much from AE. And the card packs are actual rares, once in a while when a new series comes, one goes away. Pretty sure they will be adding rare characters after they're done with series 1 for all in-game elements. (Chaos does not count) Heck I bet they will a card series 2 later on with stronger cards. Also adding Chaos to the game too. And finally the storyline.

I said it before and I'll say it again : Give the game time... I know that sounds rude, but I don't wait for AQ3D or some other AE game that no ones gives a crap about. I need to get back at updating my maps too...

I think OS is doing just fine for a beta game , at least it's releasing new chars and CC packs each week , But i also hope they're doing something big while they're releasing these chars and packs , like a whole storyline and many other systems and then release them later when ready.

but some people like rares lol

I like that my rev is now rare. <_<

That's the reason why they make releases every 2 weeks, when they don't make them for one week, they spend their time on other projects. OS may be that big of a game for the moment, but they're working on it.

I like how dev of oversoul fixed all the major bugs , plus , i like the character designs but there are things i hate about oversoul like , the hand that is holding the cards during a battle and the chat filters , they really need to fix.

That's only how you see things... -_-; Many players would say otherwise. As long as there is people who play and support the game, it will continue to exist. If HS is still alive today it's because people still believe the game has a chance.

You can say OS is wilting away... But that won't stop them from playing.

Nothing new this week i suppose?

The Earth Card Series will be released this week, It's the last of series 1. Since Chaos has not been added yet.

I hope they don't make the storyline based on "Chaos".
