my exp in smashdome during founder month

when i firsted entered the smashdome, everyone was saying they was thrashing one another...ifelt that to be a challeng...i thought...hey ill use my mall rep farm build with a small tweek...i went in brawl cuase it seemed to be the most fun out of the three optens at the time

i had 10+ matches in a row where the room was full...all ten matches i never lost more then half my hp while ppl was pilen on me...and the ego came soon after (holy shet im a god at this) i keepted cool about it...the first day smashdome came out..i had over 100k points over the secend place guy....not till a few months later i heard a whole aqw server was talken about some link fellow slutering every player in the game ((i had two builds a looping stun build and somen else haste related i dont want to go in to detail about ) i think i saw yumi for the first time that day i dont recall D:

the first 20 hours of the day it was released i stayed on..usen only that build...still havent died...the players i met that day was claw breaker (i know i prolly messed up his name) kamiry evicion (was a funny newb at the time, which talked about theeslayer at the time)

i went to bed for about 10 hours or soo got backk up loged in overlook a lot of ppl requested a duel through chat (at the time we couldnt send duel invites) i did the lol thing i said i kinda want to farm rep x3 thiers a op skill i want (ppl eyes buged out) i guess cuase they was shocked thiers some singular op power ...at the time elastic kick was a strong force by its self so yes it was stronger then most...i spent half that day farming i got bored...i looked at my pvp score...no one is still close to it yet...so i go back to smashdome i keep going at it...i think thats the day i saw shadow for the first time, shortly after i saw tally...da only person to kill me in a singles match v.v i clinged to her liek a child to its mother

the third day i kept seeing evcion i continuesly beat him left and right in brawl and he became attached to me...i kinda enjoyed his humor soo i didnt ignore him as much as i did the other odd ball fans x_x all the while mee and kamiry was getting closer to...we reped together and pvped together...we bounced idk how many builds across from eahcother....at the time i was evil rep and he was good rep so we was some kind of pair

the forth day i faced drakknois and anti for the first time "in combat" both fell face first later after the match i got a talken with them cuase i cuasely knew them from overlook (not at the same time) i learned anti made builds from throwing random powers together and some ofthe mturned out very well back then darkknois was a casule pvper didnt care about winning or losen

the fith /six/7th day nothen much happen other then the normal rulen of brawl...i didnt like teams...it was boreing....and brawl was very active evcion slowly learning the pawsome ness of lighting before it was cool....anti loven the use of DoT based builds...shadow enjoying his evasion based builds kamiry still usen anything he could find...and me still only usen my haste build...but i spent some time gathering more powers nad studying them in detail to learn to combat them


some time in the mid of the next week things happen that made smashdoem what it is today...me and kamiry got a talken while yergins birth was going on at the time i belive...either way we got a talken...i was testing powers out and he saw me..im like talken whats the big deal about doing larage amount of damge when you cant use it often or is enough to one shot them...somen click in me and him both..he said abracaver i said super intellagince, did a lil high five bit i had all the powers at the time so i tested it..i did 900+ damge and im like YES!!! i told kamiry we got a talken more some time later after one shotting ppl in singles for fun...and ppl are like CHEATER CHEATER HACKER i just loled and said i used abra some time later i found kamiry was doing the same thing...but he was stunning them first then one shotting them and some time later again i hear anti was wrecking team brawl soo i fight him...he was usen mental DoTs that was buffed...(at the time they didthe right amoutn of damge of 40-100 not some outrages 200+ dot...) and it pushed me for once and after the game was done and over with we got a talken im like awesome build anti he says thank you and went about our ways....i kepted one shotting ppl when i was bored...then some rumor started i was unbeatable no one could kill me oncei entered a room...and ppl left matches when they saw my name...i was lonely in brawl....

so i went back to reping...ocasionly going back to brawl....one day i saw evicion again he sugested we start a clan of the "best' pvpers (non realted to the pvp leader board at the time) i was hesatent and liked being alone...he later said he knew the number pvper in aqw wanted to meet me....im like :notbad: and meet with theeslayer we pvped in aqw i beat him a few times but barely...we dueled in HS i curshed him many times...and he said your great...im like thanks? he then said lets pvp again when im level 20, im like kay :D

i waited a day....he used things i never seen used together...i knew what powers he used together and it made it gawd awful hard for me...i beat him twice but barly he beat me once in a land slide (it clicked oh gawd yes a worthy foe i must befirend him) he sugested the clan again...im like alright ill tag along with you two...the first members of this guild joined...the nameless clan...we recurited some strong pvpers which was first kamiry anti shadow knight "unaofficle yes from yumi" yes from tally (the recuriten happen with in a few days to a week)

me evcion and anti got together we was wondering what to name our selfs...(this is where antis "pics" about his site came about in the herosmash thread" we kept a commen theme of sercet sacitey kind of thing...anti threw order i belive...either him or evcion...i lack creativety on names so i just said yes or no...either way we called our selfs the order from that day...i wasnt awhere anti made a site....even though me and evcion kepted bounce we need a foundtion..a site..somen!!

either way the order members was spread and didnt know each other at the time other then through me and evcion...things then started happening again that made the smashdoem what it is today...mental builds started comen about....at the time only useful in team brawl...and singles but still failed at the place i was dub king at soo i was slightly upset ppl copyed a builds pattern...then i started the unspoken law of smashdome...which isnt as used today...one shall never copy or steal builds..one shall always benice to other players....it was hard for the secend one for me..i had a ego thatp pl kepted feeding e.e

either way...by in game player rep stand point i started to become the vilen of smashdome..."never dieing and always bragen" i knew i had problems with gloating but they was very in control for 80% of the time :/

i quickly becamed hated in game and in fourms...few ppl stood up for me other then the frineds i made during smashdomes first few weeks ,i extend my thanks to those players

i continuesless started to noticed problems areasin..the main thing ppl copying powers which started the mainstreem..the first was vamp bite...everyone had to have it, then mental....stunning was easy to handle (cept tally) cuase no one knew how to use it or failed at it

after 3 weeks of straight pvping i started to get bored....and smashdome got emppty other then the regular players that came in most of which was the names listed above

thigns settled down...powers was nerfed...some should have been nerfed..wasnt

smashdome became public soon after....the first weeks of that will be posted another time....

was the strongest lowest lv in pvp founder testing, i made ppl fear brain freeze and other dots and gave link a hard time in pvp. was only lv 18 and joined this clan at lv 18. lol

Well...before pvp alpha opened, I was one of those overlook-1 people. They weren't really fighters, and I was one of the few that trained my build to be able to solo bosses and fight in wars. When pvp alpha opened, I went straight in there and started in 1vs1 (which I specialized in during alpha pvp). I tweaked my build around some, which from the very start had been a stunning build, and started winning a lot more matches. In the earlier days, there were no legendary powers. No super powers. No leaderboard. It was all for sport, and things were balanced.
Well, I started becoming a bit notorious as a stunner. There were two well known stunners, myself and Doomus. I didn't really like him though :/ people were starting to complain in the forums about us, and eventually Stupefacio was nerfed to what it is today. (35 second long cooldown compared to the original 15 second) The very first comment in the "power balancing" thread mentions Doomus and my stuns, so I take partial blame for the nerf of it. Partial. Well eventually I met another stunner, Kamiry. He was a decent opponent, which was a treat to find back then. We decided to become eachother's friendly rival. We constantly made eachother adapt, and evolve, by fighting the other until we couldn't fix our own weaknesses any more. By this time I had been hearing about a supposed unbeatable pvper, Link. One day I enter a room that he's in, and he says he's been looking for me to fight. (I was a rogue pvper at the time.) We fought, and I won. We started hanging around eachother more after that. I saw Kamiry and Link talking about some exclusive pvp group that Kamiry had just joined, so I ask Link about it. He thought I was already in it at the time so he hadn't asked, so I joined then. Mental had, as Link said, been the growing op 'mainstream' thing at the time, and only a few had been original users of it.
Then leaderboards were created, and our group of pvpers (which had previously been the unoffical 'top 10') were rather upset that it was based on farming. Yes, that's when Hiro got himself noticed. I still remember beating him every single time in 1vs1.
We started talking about a website for our group of pvpers, since we were disorganized and half of us didn't know who the other members were. waterboy had started a site a while before, but it was...less than satisfactory. So I myself made this site, and within a day or two it was up and running.
I might have missed a few details, but I'll edit if there's any more i want to add.

Lol, why how interesting. Spell powers were sued that much back then, didn't even know. Maybe a thread for people who aren't founders but had very early experiences

i dont see why it cant include your first month of smashdome either, they can be very influenctle to what you now became in to :D

I was lv 17 when I began pvp during the first month it was out during founder month. Tainted heart had gotten a head start on me to practice and we always dueled, she owned me with a mental set over and over and over again. So I went to ingiru with demmands hyper and her and trained and got lv 20 within a week. And then I generated A lighting build that sucked at first but then I developed the skill to use tazer and actually won one against her.

A couple of weeks after this legendary powers came out and EVERYONE desired one. I my self aimed for fashion sence and created a healing build Vampy, siphon, healing touch, uncanny focus, lighting strike( I was obssesd with this power) it did preety good winning some times and lossing others. I met players like Rexxar and Vestige who were very good around that time. I also met Damian and Protege who were and still are some of the best pvpers I've ever met. I dueled with this and farmed fashion and when I got it I was using it 24/7 for no reason. But then I met Xervos, and I had seen him around before but we never spoke so then we 1v1 and he takes me out with barely any damage lost. And we started a coversation and trained a fought together for a while then he mentioned something about ShadowSlice I had never heard of a power like this and I got fixed I had to get it. SO i created my style of fighting that came from all my times in PD i won quite alot with the help of team mates and I was asked how I took so little damage; I replied by explaing I used phase shift. And then pvp began to change, arogance and bravado became more apparent and people were alwasy claiming they were the best...For me it was never about being the best, just about seeing what I could do.

I rechallenged tainted and won 3/4 times, she then sought out power and trained and now we've been rivals ever since.

And that is the story of how I became the semi-average pvper I am today XD
